MobiNear is currently privately owned.

In February 2007, MobiNear announced it closed a first round of financing with Business Angels to accelerate its development.

Henri Seydoux, Philippe Dewost, and Pascal Mercier are among the lead investors of this private round, and will contribute to support MobiNear solutions deployment.

About Henri SEYDOUX:
Henri SEYDOUX founded the Parrot company in 1994 and since its creation has held the position of chairman and CEO.
Parrot is a global recognized innovative leading specialist in Bluetooth(TM) technology. Parrot is backed by respected Financial Partners and is listed on the Eurolist by Euronext (Compartment B) Paris stock market. Parrot ranked 82nd in the 500 fastest-growing technology companies list of the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA 2005.
Self-educated, Mr SEYDOUX began his career in 1978 as a trainee at the Journal Actuel and was employed there as a journalist from 1979 to 1980. In 1981 he joined the sales department of the newspaper Le Matin de Paris. In 1982 he joined the company SSCI as an operating systems software developer and then from 1983 to 1984 he worked for the company Microarchi also as an operating systems software developer. In 1985 he established the company BBS to market the Microarchi operating system. In 1986 he established the company BSCA, which creates synthetic 3-D images, and became its Chairman and CEO from 1986 to 1990. In 1991 with three other partners he founded the luxury business Christian Louboutin, of which he became a director. Henri SEYDOUX, 46, is now the visionary Founder & CEO of Parrot.

About Philippe DEWOST:
Philippe DEWOST is Vice President, Marketing & Business Development at RealEyes3D. He joined RealEyes3D in May 2006 to take over Marketing and Business Development, with a particular focus on developing the company’s wireless services offering. Formerly, he was with France Telecom since June 2003, serving as Vice President Customer Premises Equipment, in charge of this Business Unit within the Fixed Line Division. He was managing a 5 digits sales & rental P&L for domestic equipment (voice, home networking, accessories) distributed by the operator to its residential customers, and had as such responsibility for building a consistent, innovative, and revenue generating device portfolio by driving industrial relationships with major phone and CE companies. During his tenure, Mr DEWOST set up a 25 people team, doubled the product range and speed to market, which resulted in growth achievements in volumes, value, and market share. He also initiated a unique, group wide ranging process in order to build an integrated device portfolio aligned with France Telecom’s integrated operator strategy. He was since Nov 1999 VP Business Development with Ukibi, Inc, a recognized pioneer in contact management platforms for ISPs and Mobile Operators, based in New York and Paris. Previously he worked with France Telecom Multimedia Division, where he ran a Product Marketing Team, designed communication services for Wanadoo, and was one of the 5 founders of Wanadoo in 1995. He has also worked with Apple Computer on telephony applications for the Newton platform.
A seasoned speaker, he has already served as a panelist and keynote speaker in various events including SyncML Convention and several editions of BroadBand World Forum.
Philippe DEWOST, 38, holds an MBA from the Collège des Ingénieurs, a Master in Telecommunication from Telecom Paris, and a Master in Physics from the Ecole Normale Supérieure (ULM).
