MobiNear in the News : MobiNear PRESS RELEASE November 30, 2005 MobiNear to offer license for a Patent pending Mobile Technology to detect when you are near someone you know. Paris, France - MobiNear is a Differentiating New Meeting Service on Mobiles. MobiNear Software Technology applies to any communicating Mobile device (Mobile phones, Laptops, ...). The detection range of the MobiNear Software Technology is user programmable and can reach several kilometers exceeding the actual radio range of the device. MobiNear Technology can efficiently be deployed by Operators but can also be integrated into Mobile phones. MobiNear Technology is not restricted to a specific radio communication system. First Products will target Bluetooth(TM) and WiFi(TM) devices. A demo version for Bluetooth(TM) enabled Mobile phones running Java(TM) will be demonstrated at 3GSM'06.
